O Scale On30 On3 - Sandy Creek Depot

No room for a big train station? Here's a little depot with lots of narrow gauge character. Scratch built from custom cast RESIN PLASTIC this fully built mostly plastic model will outlive us all. With a fully finished painted interior, this model is move in ready. Just drop it in place.

Several washes of ink and acrylic based stains were applied to create the look of naturally aged irregular cut stone (building) and river rock (base). There's a loading dock with tons of details including a separate set of steps you can place anywhere you like, old cans, barrels, an old parts box, old wood boards, trash can full of trash with trash hanging out, old rags scattered about, a rusty crusty smokestack and two highly detailed fully painted and weathered figurines.

The simulated multilayered tarpaper roof with visible lap lines, nail heads and repair patches was built up from several wrinkled layers of acrylic dust. It took several hours and many separate applications to create the 3D effect of multiple layers of worn, tarpaper roofing. Windows have clear dusty window glass plastic installed with no mullions hovering. This is a well built, mostly plastic structure model with a partially open bottom (no base - but a thin wood floor under the depot).

Approximate size is a little over 5 inches long NOT including the steps, by about 3 1/2 inches deep including the dock, by a little over 4 1/4 inches tall to the top of the roof peak (not including the smokestack). You will receive the actual model shown in the photos. Items combined if possible and include professional packing and insurance. Background scenery, track, and On30 freight car shown for size comparison are NOT included.
